DJ/Producer, Mike Clouds from Portland, Maine just released his fresh new album called “Apollo’s Stamina” on Milled Pavement Records and it’s officially available in various format’s by clicking on the album cover/link below!
“2014 sees Mike Clouds re-emerge after a four year public-hiatus to throw his flat-brim into the Trap and Bass Music ring. “Apollo’s Stamina” is the coded language for Clouds’ own ego re-emerging into the public eye with a revitalized energy for music and performance.
Though closely identified with the Sun, the Roman god Apollo is also the symbolic embodiment of Music, Poetry, and the Protection of the young- all fitting metaphors for Mike Clouds’ re-emergence”.

Very pleased to be able to say that this is officially here! Check out this brand new split 12-inch EP out now on Dora Dorovitch(France).. with brand new material from Rickolus and debut project from D R O N E S (Swordplay + PT Burnem + Erik Akers of Double Rainbow)! This is an acoustic album with a twist; being both musically sound, fusing incredible lyricism making this an album to take us into the future. The message is current & I can see it being just that for many many years to come. For me, this is an instant classic!! You can stream and purchase the digital version here:
They are also currently accepting Pre-Orders for the vinyl version of this project and you can place your order over on their Bandcamp page here:
D R O N E S – “D R O N E S is a folk rap group from Richmond, VA who combines acoustic and digital elements into their music. Sounding like what you might expect if Pink Floyd had ever rapped, the songs oscillate appropriately between electronic shoegaze and the droned out workings of acoustic guitars. Lyrically, D R O N E S is a paranoia soaked nosedive into the collective subconscious of America. Written from the perspective of drone operators, while sometimes taking on the homicidal voices of the drones themselves, D R O N E S offers a collection of songs that could easily be imagined sung around a post-World War III campfire”.
Rickolus – “Rivers and Lakes is a five part folk song about the ridiculous beautiful trials of a young romantic. It was written as a burst of words almost unconsciously pouring out of Rick Colado late at night while he was working as a projectionist at a movie theatre. The music came together when Rick showed the bare songs to his friends Anthony Anurca and Rebecca Zapen who then added their wild talent to the record, giving the songs the strange arrangement of guitar, voice, violin and bassoon. It’s a unique but familiar sound, recorded live in a little green shed in Rick’s parents backyard, the sounds blend together as if they were all coming from one source”.

Check out the latest offering from Lewis M. with his severely fresh new album “Ampersand” available to purchase right here:
“Lewis M. is a Boston-based (and Providence born) poet, beatmaker, and MC. He has performed at the Apollo Theater in NYC, The Smithsonian, among many other venues. His beats retain a refreshingly simplified approach to hip-hop production that harkens back to the boom-bap of the 90’s while remaining fresh and new”.
Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Brickfister is Colorado hiphop artist “Onboard Baloon” when he can’t sleep. Tending to stay up long hours in the studio, experimenting with extremely odd sounds and noise, presenting a beautiful curse of eternal journey through sound space and time. Really digging it!

if you’d prefer to purchase via I-tunes, this is the direct link:
I really enjoyed this one right through, with it’s impeccable lyricism, hard-hitting messages and beats that just can’t be beat. I especially loved the blues influence of this album and feel it really encapsulates what Chuck D is all about. Definitely an album I would highly recommend getting for anyone who appreciates great music.

Man, I’m excited about this one!!! Check out the brand new music video from Rob Sonic for his track “Jesus Christ Super Tramp”!!!
This track is lifted from his long awaited 3rd solo album “Alice In Thunderdome” which marks the return of Bronx MC / producer Rob Sonic!
You can get your copy right here:
“Almost six years have passed since his last full length and as you will see, a lot has changed since then. He spent much of his time away touring and working on the album, as well as releasing an album with Aesop Rock as a member of the group Hail Mary Mallon.
Some of what you’ve come to expect from Rob Sonic remains, dense word play, “heavy-electric” beats and a unique approach to Rapping are all present and accounted for. The familiarity however, may end there for some, as Rob approaches this album in an entirely different and new way, there is nothing that tries to be Trendy or friendly about this album, it approaches you, introduces itself and immediately gets down to Brass Tacks.
The record has extremely personal touches strategically fine lined on to a canvas of aggression, as if to offer your senses a truce and then attacking before they can agree, as high as Rob wants you to get, is as low as you can go, which is after all how many of us live our lives, or at least at some point or another have, we’ve gone in to the Rabbit hole and come out in the wastelands.
Rob is not another Hero & “Alice In Thunderdome” is not just another record”.
