Really digging this one; Jimmy Greek (Jam Faction/Cult Member Music) and Waatu are Maude’s Delicacies. There’s also gonna be a follow up full-length that’ll be released later in 2014 & it’s a good thing too cos’ I for one really could do with a follow up. The epic emcee producer combo and classic Waatu production really makes for one hell of an EP; not to mention the the really dope remix tracks from Subtric and Black Tokyo! All in all a great EP start to finish; go get yourself a copy!
Be sure to check out the individual artists too to make sure you don’t miss out on their constant creative efforts:

Just weeks after the viral explosion of his "We All Work" video (Half a million hits and counting) Aaron Evans returns to debut his new groundbreaking video series, "Becoming A King". Looking to push the artistic boundaries of Hip Hop, Graffiti and Performance Art into uncharted waters the "Becoming A King" series is unlike any you've ever seen.
Part 1 "Final Days" is the blank canvas as Aaron lays the "sketch" of a Graffiti Lion on his body. The result is liken to futuristic tribal war paint as Aaron emphatically and definitely verbally draws a line in the sand between him and the growing crop of negative musicians in today's artistic landscape. This isn't a warning, it's a promise. The words are powerful and focused and the sparse music bed allows those message to echo home with authority. Hip Hop has NEVER seen anything this out of the box and be it positive or negative the result will leave viewers speechless.
Part 2 "Roar" finds the Graffiti Lion taking it's final form as Arek Art steps in to do a stop motion video progression of the arrows, fills and abstract movement, which makes Graffiti such a captivating medium. In part two the intensity of both the vocals and beat step up exponentially as Aaron unveils a more aggressive side. "Roar" leaves no question that this mission is more than business, it's personal. Anyone standing the the way of positive progression better be prepared for the "Roar" that is forthcoming. No apologies, no regrets, this is Aaron raw and uncloaked, ready to take on the world.
Over the past ten years Aaron has continuously showcased his ability to constantly reset his creative bar. From early work with Illogic, The Green Brothers (Racecar) and Davu to his recent work with Orko, Gill Sotu and SKUNK Magazine, Aaron has show that he isn't breaking boxes, he perpetually exists and lives far beyond their limitations. Now continuously making moves following his viral success the world's just beginning to realize the potential of this artistic juggernaut. From his 30+ published articles as an author to his 10 studio albums to his activism work and innovative approach to all things creative, Aaron is out to show he's "Becoming A King" upon the strength of his imagination and creativity.

Jonwayne’s “Rap Album One” is now out on double LP, CD, Digital!! Check it out here:
"Jonwayne came onto the Los Angeles music scene by way of the east Los Angeles club Low End Theory circa 2008-09, then emerging as the epicenter of a new generation of hip-hop beat makers: Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Nosaj Thing, Kutmah, Daedelus. Fresh out of high school, Jonwayne jumped in with homemade rap mixtapes and immersed himself in the scene. "It felt like a golden age," he says, "it was very inspiring."
He first became known as a producer, releasing the instrumental album Bowser (2011) – but it was his over-sized skill on the mic that caught the attention of Stones Throw's Peanut Butter Wolf, who signed him to record an album as an MC.
As Jon set to work on his debut rap project, he let his presence be known with a series of tapes: Cassette, Cassette 2 and Cassette 3. Each was unplanned, the releases prompted by Jon’s prolific output. And by this time even lawyers for the tobacco conglomerate Phillip Morris took notice of Jonwayne, serving him with a cease & desist notice for a cassette that looked like a pack of Marlboros.
Jon Wayne is the MC/producer's birth name. The Hollywood cowboy, John Wayne (real name Marion Morrison) took his famous screen name from Jonwayne's great-great-great-great-great uncle, General "Mad Anthony" Wayne, a player in the American Revolutionary War. True story. Now Jonwayne's taking back the name - what goes around comes around.
About the vinyl: The double LP edition of Rap Album One contains two inner sleeves with the records cut to play at 45 RPM. Playing the records at 33 1/3 RPM is the "screwed" version".
Mass Appeal: Jonwayne's Myth Making & Melancholy
LA Weekly: "One of the best rap albums of the year"
Here’s a few tracks from the album:
really digging this one and I highly recommend checking it out…
